About Serply
The war disrupted their learning. We help them recover it.
Serply is a charitable organization registered in Ukraine, focused on educational recovery for children whose schooling has been disrupted by the war.
Who we are
Serply is a Ukrainian charitable organization founded by professionals from finance and education who share one conviction: a war a child did not choose should not decide whether they get an education. We are not a school and we do not enroll students — we are a charitable support organization that helps children, families, schools and teachers recover the learning that disruption has taken.
The organization's early pilot work was in international education support; in 2025–2026 we refocused entirely on Ukraine, where the need is immediate and where our team lives and works. Our first Ukrainian programs — learning recovery kits and teacher support — launch in 2026.
Mission
To help children in Ukraine whose education has been disrupted by the war recover lost learning — by providing learning materials, supporting teachers, and strengthening the communities that educate them.
Vision
A Ukraine where no child's future is set back by the years the war took from their education — where every community, including those closest to the front line, has the resources to help its children catch up.
Why "educational recovery"?
Humanitarian aid keeps children safe and fed; reconstruction rebuilds walls. Between the two sits a quieter need: the reading levels, math skills and study habits lost to displacement and disruption. International evidence is clear that learning losses compound if not deliberately addressed. Recovery is specific work — and it's ours.
How we work
Four principles behind every decision
Community partnership
We work through local schools, teachers and hromada leadership. Priorities are decided with communities, and distribution runs through people the community already trusts.
Honesty about stage
Our programs are launching, and we say so. We publish plans and budgets now, and results only when they are real.
Evidence over assumptions
Program design draws on learning-recovery research and Ukraine's own education data. What we measure, we publish — including shortfalls.
Do no harm
Working with war-affected children demands care: safeguarding standards, trauma-informed practice, and coordination with schools and local authorities.

Our team
Serply is run by a small core team based in Ukraine, supported by remote volunteers.
David
Co-founder · Finance & partnerships
David comes from business finance and oversees Serply's budgeting, donor relationships and fundraising. He is responsible for our financial reporting and our 80/12/8 spending commitment.
Natacha
Co-founder · Education & programs
Natacha holds a master's degree in Early Childhood Education. She designs the learning-recovery methodology and the teacher support curriculum, and leads relationships with partner schools.
Where we work
Starting where the disruption is worst
Our 2026 launch focuses on frontline-adjacent and de-occupied communities and on hromadas hosting large numbers of internally displaced families — the places where learning loss is deepest and local resources are thinnest. Specific partner communities will be announced as agreements are signed, with their consent and with security considerations in mind.
